We usually attend the running day based in Brough and Kirkby Stephen over the Easter weekend and this year was no exception. Cavalier 1036 and Leopard / Duple 1052 took a number of members to the event on Sunday and Atlantean 1481 operated in service all weekend. In keeping with this year’s Spring weather it was cold and windy but the frequent bus service provided plenty of travel options. As ever the superb scenery in the area is an added attraction.

One vehicle with a Ribble connection was the AEC Regal from the Quantock fleet which is now painted in Standerwick livery. It retains its luxurious interior from its touring days and like our Cheetah has roof level luggage accommodation.
