We’ve been pushing on with the restoration of Burlingham PD2 1467. Recent weeks have seen the interior painted and lino laid along with protective floor strips. In parallel final checks have been carried out on the engine and gearbox including fitting new seals to prevent a possible oil leak. The bus has now been repositioned to make it easier to fit the engine and gearbox which we intend to do in the next week or two. There will still be plenty more to do but getting the engine in will be another major step forward.
