More progress with our Burlingham bodied PD2 1467. We now have an auto electrician completing all the wiring in the cab and one of our volunteers who is a bus engineer has had the engine running in situ for the first time. The fuel pipe from the tank to the engine was completed so it ran from fuel in the tank. Pleased to report that the engine sounded in very good nick and was smoke free. Fairly soon we should be able to fit the radiator which has already been fitted with a new core. Also the engine now starts on the button and various items (horn, heater fan) are wired in and working.

Engine now running smoothly in situ
