Work continues on our restoration projects as well as routine tasks such as MoT preparation in advance of the rally season. 1349 has received a partial floor replacement on the upper deck and new wood inserts have been added to pillar sections which will eventually allow new panels to be attached. More wheel arch sections have been fabricated for 377 and the rear dome has been removed from donor 386 to provide a basis for rebuilding the back end of 377. More on this in a future blog.

Some years ago a former Ribble Leopard / Duple Dominant DP, 1117, was donated to us as a source of spares. It is now being prepared for disposal and parts are being removed before it goes. Some body parts were taken by another group to help with a Dominant restoration and we have now moved the bus into our depot for removal of the engine and gearbox.
