A few RVPT members and friends took a couple of our buses out for night photography. Although night photography requires more and different skills it can produce images which add a different dimension. It was a freezing cold night so the heavy (genuine) Ribble overcoats worn by the crew were most welcome.
The evening began with a trip to the Fylde villages of Elswick, Singleton and Wrea Green where a number of photos were taken featuring passengers in 1950s style clothes and fully attired crews. Then it was into Preston for shots at various locations including St. Walburge’s church, Selborne Street garage (with prior permission from Stagecoach) and Fishergate.
The photos below give a good flavour of the evening. Our thanks to Andrew Fowler for planning and organising the evening and for taking these excellent photos.
