Work continues on several of our projects and this time we feature some which have not been reported for some time. Royal Tiger saloon 377 is making good progress with recent work focussed on securing the ‘dog rails’ at the base of the bodywork and on the very thorough renovation of the luggage racks. In addition several internal panels have now been covered in rexine which gives a more pleasing interior as well as restoring an original feature.

Morecambe & Heysham AEC Regent 111 no.72 is also making good progress. Current work is mainly inside the lower saloon with all surfaces being prepared for painting. Much of the upper deck interior has already been completed.

A relatively recent addition to the collection is Stagecoach era 109, a Plaxton bodied Volvo B10M coach. Offside panels have been removed to enable rebuilding of the framework which was in poor condition.

Plenty of progress also with PD2s 1349 and 1467. Updates will be provided here in the next blog.
