Most bus restoration and refurbishment is a series of small advances and we’ve had a few recently. PD3 1775 has been checked over and should be available for our Morecambe running day. It’s been treated to a new padded engine cover which will provide a (minor!) noise reduction in the cab. It will also have its lower saloon seat backs refurbished. The nearside front wing of TD5 2057 was showing signs of rust and an examination revealed some parts had rotted away. The affected area has been cut out and replaced with new metal and new support brackets.

Progress continues with the wiring of Royal Tiger 377 with all internal lights working. The correct lampshades have now been fitted, providing  another step towards completion.
